RESOLUTION NO. <br /> <br /> AN EMERGENCY RESOLUTION authorizing and dlrectlng the <br />Director of Public Works to enter into a contract for the <br />purchase of the necessary fire and extended coverage insurance <br />for buildings located upon real property owned by the City <br />of Lakewood, at 12500 Berea Road, Lakewood, Ohio. <br /> <br /> P~EREAS, This resolution constitutes an emergency <br />measure providing for the immediate preservation of the public <br />property and for the usual daily operation of a municipal <br />department; now, therefore, <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD, <br />STATE OF OHIO: <br /> <br /> Section 1. That the Director of Public Works be and he <br />is hereby authorized and directed to enter into a contract <br />for the purchase of the necessary fire and extended coverage <br />insurance for buildings located upon real property owned~by <br />the City of Lakewood, at 12500 Berea Road, Lakewood, Ohio, <br />with the lowest and best bidder after advertisemen= according <br />to law. <br /> <br /> Section 2. That this resolution is declared to be an <br />emergency measure for the reasons stated in the preamble <br />hereof and provided it receives the affirmative vote oftwo- <br />thirds of all members elected to Council, it shall take effect <br />and be in force immediately upon its adoption and approval by <br />the ~ayor. <br /> <br />Adopted~ Oa~obe~ 1.
