RESOLUTION NO. 4246 BY~ Messrs. Gaydos, Huffman~ <br /> Lawther, Usher, <br /> Ward, Wendling~ <br /> Williamson. <br /> AN EMERGENCY RESOLUTION authorizing and directing <br />the Director of Public Works to enter into a contract, after <br />approval by Council, for the installation of approximately <br />200 feet of six-inch water main in Northwood Avenue between <br />Cannon Alley and West Clifton Blvdo <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, This Council has determined to proceed with <br />the improvement set forth in the title hereof by contract, and, <br /> <br /> ~,~EREAS, This resolution constitutes an emergency <br />measure providing for the immediate preservation Of the public <br />health and safety and for the usual daily operation of a muni- <br />cipal department; now, therefore, <br /> <br /> BE IT RE~/~D BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />LA~EWOOD~ STAT~ 0-~ OHIO: <br /> <br /> Section 1. That the Director of Public Works be and <br />he is hereby authorized to enter into a contract for the instal- <br />lation of approximately 200 feat of six-inch water main in <br />Northwood Avenue between Cannon Alley and West Clifton Blvd., <br />in accordance with plans prepared tl~refor in the office of the <br />Director of Public Works, with the lowest and best bidder after <br />advertisement according to l~w, and only after approval of such <br />contract by the Council of the City of Lakewood. <br /> <br /> Section 2. This ordinance is hereby declared to be <br />an emergency measure for the reasons stated in the preamble <br />hereof and provided it receives the affirmative vote of two- <br />thirds of all members elected to Council, it shall take effect <br />and be in force immediately upon its adoption and approval by <br />the Mayor. <br /> <br />Adopted: May 6~,,1963 <br /> Robert M.
