RESOLUTION NOo 4266 BY:Messrs. Ward, Wendling, <br /> Williamson, Gaydos, <br /> Huffman, Lawther, <br /> Usher. <br /> AN EMERGENCY RESOLUTION authorizing the Director <br />of Public Works to enter into a contract for the pur¢~ase of the <br />necessary requirements of gasoline for the several departments of <br />the City for a period of one year, beginning November 1, 1963o <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, It is necessary to furnish the several <br />departments of the City with gasoline for the operation of <br />vehicles and motorized equipment, and, <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, This resolution constitutes an emergency <br />measure providing for the immediate preservation of the public <br />property and for the usual daily operation of a municipal depart- <br />ment; now, therefore, <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />LAKEWOOD, STATE OF OHIO: <br /> <br /> Section 1. That the Director of Public Works be and <br />he is hereby authorized and directed to enter into a contract for <br />the purchase of the necessary requirements of gasoline for a <br />period of one year, beginning November 1, 1963, for the several <br />departments of the City, with the lowest and best bidder after <br />advertisement according to lawo <br /> <br /> Section 2o That this resolution is hereby declared <br />to be an emergency measure for the reasons stated in the preamble <br />hereof and provided it receives the affirmative vote of two-thirds <br />of all members elected to Council, it shall take effect and be in <br />force immediately upon its adoption and approval by the Mayor° <br /> <br />Adopted: September 3~ 1963 <br /> Robert M.
