Usher, Ward, <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 4280 BY: Wendting, Williamsen, <br /> Gaydos, Huffman, <br /> Lawther. <br /> AN EMERGENCY RESOLUTION authorizing and directing the <br />Finance Director of the City of Lakewood to accept the principal <br />and~interest on ~pecial assessment levied on permanent parcel <br />numoer 313-19-174 on the Cuyahoga Oounty Auditor's records and <br />authorizing the County Auditor to cancel said special assessment <br />for the year 1964o <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City has special assessment charged against <br />the property hereinafter described and levied under Ordinance <br />No. 35-58, adopted by the Council of the City of Lakewood on <br />July 7~ 1958, and, <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, The owner of the said property has tendered pay- <br />ment of the principal portion and interest on the special assess- <br />ment levied on said parcel pursuant to the provisions of Section <br />5719.16 of the Revised Code of the State of Ohio, and, <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, This resolution constitutes an~emergency measure <br />providing for the usual daily operation of a municipal depart- <br />ment~ now, therefore, <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD~ <br />STATE OF 0HIO: <br /> <br /> Section t. That the Director of Finance of the City of <br />Lakewood be and he is hereby authorized and directed to accept <br />the sum of $18.46 tendered in payment of the principal and <br />interest for the year 1964 of special assessment charged against <br />the property described as permanent parcel number 313-19-174 on <br />the Auditor's records of Cuyahoga County, Ohio, and levied under <br />Ordinance No. 35-58, adopted by the Council of the City of <br />Lakewood on July 7~ 1958. <br /> <br /> Section 2. That said special assessment as hereinbefore <br />set forth having been accepted as set forth in Section 1 hereof, <br />and the Auditor of Cuyahoga County be and he is hereby author- <br />ized to cancel said special assessment for the year 1964 levied <br />under Ordinance No. 35-58, adopted by the Council of the City <br />of Lakewood on July 7, 1958 on permanent parcel number 313-19-174 <br />on the County Auditor's records and further described as being <br />Sublet number 131 in the Matthews & Gilbert Subdivision ~2~ each <br />annual assessment being in the amount of $18.46. <br /> <br /> Section 3. That the Clerk of Council be and he is hereby <br />~uthorized and directed to deliver a certified copy of this <br />resolution to the ~dl~or o£ ~.yaLo~a ~.o'~.~n'~ for i~e p~?pose of <br />having said special assessment canceled. <br /> <br /> Section 4. That this resolution is hereby declared to be <br />an emergency measure for the reasons stated in the preamble <br />hereof and provided it receives the affirmative vote of two- <br />thirds of all members elected to Council, it shall take effect <br />and be in force immediately upon its adoption and approval by <br />the Mayor. <br /> <br />Adopted: <br /> <br />October 21~ 1963 <br /> <br />Robert M.
