RESOLUTION NO. 4282 Messrs. Gaydos, Huffman, BY: Lawther, Usher, Ward, Wendling. AN EMERGENCY RESOLUTION authorizing and directing the Finance Director of the City of Lakewood to accept the principal and interest on special assessment levied on permanent parcel number 315-19-39 on the Cuyahoga County Auditor's records and authorizing the County Auditor to cancel said special assessment for the years 1964, 1965, 1966 and 1967. WHEREAS, the City has special assessment charged against the property hereinafter described and levied under Ordinance No. 14-63, adopted by the Council of the City of Lakewood on March 18, 1963, and, WHEREAS, The owner of the said property has tendered pay- ment of the principal portion and interest on the special assess- ment levied on said parcel pursuant to the provisions of Section 5719.16 of the Revised Code of the State of Ohio, and, WHEREAS, This resolution constitutes an emergency measure providing for the usual daily operation of a municipal depart- ment; now, therefore, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD, STATE OF OHIO: Section 1. That the Director of Finance of the City of Lakewood be and he is hereby authorized and directed to accept the sum of $60.40 tendered in payn~ent of the principal and inter- est for the years 1964 through 1967 of special assessment charged against the property described as permanent parcel number 315r19-39 on the Auditor's records of Cuyahoga County, Ohio~ and levied under Ordinance No. 14-63, adopted by the Council of the City of Lakewood on March 18~ 1963. Section 2. That said special assessment as hereinbefore set forth having been accepted as set forth in Section 1 hereof, and the Auditor of Cuyahoga County be and he is hereby author- ized to cancel said special assessment for the years 1964 through 1967 levied under Ordinance No. 14-63, adopted by the Council of the City of Lakewood on March 18, 1963 on permanent parcel number 315-19-39 on the County Auditor's records and further de- scribed as being Sublot number 163 in the Land & Home Company Subdivision #1~ each annual assessment being in the amount of $15.10. Section 3. That the Clerk of Council be and he is hereby authorized and directed to deliver a certified copy of this resolution to the Auditor of Cuyahoga County for the purpose of having said special assessment canceled° Section 4. That this resolution is hereby declared to be an emergency measure for the reasons stated in the preamble hereof and provided it receives the affirmative vote of two- thirds of all members elected to Council, it shall take effect and be in force immediately upon its adoption and approval by the Mayor~ Adopted: November 18, 1963 Approved: November,~O~ %963 Robert M.
