RESOLUTION NO. ~ BY: ~,~ 0~, <br /> <br /> AN EMERGENCY RESOLUTION adopting rules of order of the <br />Council of the~City of Lakewood, Ohio. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS~ Article III, Section 5 of the Charter provides <br />that Council shall de~ermine its own rules and order of business, <br />and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, a~ emergency exists, in that, in order to comply <br />with the provisions Of the Charter and to provide the Rules of <br />Order for the p?esent Council, it is necessary to act forthwith, <br />and in that this resolution provides for the public welfare and <br />the usual daily oper:ation of a municipal department, therefore, <br />be it <br /> <br /> RESOLVED, BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD, STATE OF <br />0HIO: <br /> <br /> Section 1. That Sections 121.02 to 121.15, both inclusive, <br />of the Codified Ordinances of the City of Lakewood, Ohio, are <br />hereby adopted as the Rules and Order of Business of this Council. <br /> <br /> Section 2. That this resolution is hereby declared to be <br />an emergency measure for the reasons stated in the preamble here- <br />of, and provided it receives the affirmative vote of two-thirds <br />of all members elected to Council, it shall take effect and be <br />in force immediately upon its adoption. <br /> <br />Adopted:. <br /> <br />~'Pres/den~ <br />Acting clerk <br /> <br /> <br />
