RESOLUTION NO~ 433~ B¥~ Messrs. Ward, Wendling, <br /> Bennett, Cain, <br /> Gaydos, Huffman, <br /> Usher. <br /> MN EMERGENCY RESOLUTION authorizing the Director of <br />Public Safety to enter into a contract or contracts for the <br />purchase of six new patrol cars for the Police Division and <br />one new utility truck (alarm system) for the Fire Division <br />of the City of Lakewood Safety Department° <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, This resolution constitutes an emergency <br />measure in that it provides for the immediate preservation <br />of the public safety and welfare and for the usual daily <br />operation of municipal departments; now, therefore, <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD, <br />STATE OF OHIO~ <br /> <br /> Section 1o That the Director of Public Safety be and <br />he is hereby authorized and directed to enter into a con- <br />tract or contracts for the purchase of six new patrol cars <br />and one utility truck (alarm system)~ and for the sale of <br />six used patrol cars and one used utility truck for alarm <br />system as trade-in on such new vehicles with the lowest <br />and best bidder or bidders after advertisement according <br />to lawo <br /> <br /> Section 2o This resolution is hereby declared to be <br />an emergency ~ measure for the reasons stated in ~e preamble <br />hereof and provided it receives the affirmative vote of two- <br />thirds of all members elected to Council, it shall take <br />effect and be in force immediately upon its adoption and <br />approval by the Mayor° <br /> <br />Adopted~ April 6, !964 <br /> <br />John Gaydos, Jr. <br /> <br />President <br /> <br />Approved:April,~ 1~6~ <br /> <br />Mary Adams <br /> Cisrk <br /> <br />Robert M.
