Usher, Ward, <br /> Bennett, Cain, <br /> Gaydos, Huffman. <br /> <br /> AN EMERGENCY RESOLUTION authorizing and directing the <br />Director of Public Works to enter into a contract, after <br />approval by Council, for the installation of approximately <br />1980 feet of twelve-inch water main in Detroit Avenue between <br />West Clifton Boulevard and Cordova Avenue. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, This Council has determined to proceed with <br />the improvement set forth in the title hereof by contract, and, <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, This resolution constitutes an emergency <br />measure providing for the immediate preservation of the public <br />health and safety and for the usual daily operation of a muni- <br />cipal department; now, therefore, <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD, <br />STATE OF OHIO: <br /> <br /> Section 1. That the Director of Public Works be and he <br />hereby is authorized to enter into a contract for the installa~ <br />tion of approximately 1980 feet of twelve-inch water main in <br />Detroit Avenue between West Clifton Blvd. and Cordova Avenue, <br />in accordance with plans prepared therefor in the office of <br />the Director of Public Works, with the lowest and best bidder <br />after advertisement according to law, and only after approval <br />of such contract by the Council of the City of Lakewood. <br /> <br /> Section 2.
