RESOLUTION NO. BY: <br /> <br /> AN EMERGENCY RESOLUTION authorizing and directing the Finance <br />Director of the City of Lakewood to accept the principal and in- <br />terest on special assessment levied on permanent parcel number <br />314-3-104 on the Cuyahoga County Auditor's records and authoriz- <br />ing the County Auditor to cancel said special assessment for <br />the years 1964 and 1965. <br /> <br /> WMEREAS, the City has special assessment charged against the <br />property hereinafter described and levied under Ordinance No.49-60, <br />adopted by the Council of the City of Lakewood on June 20, 1960, <br />and, <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, The owner of the said property has tendered payment <br />of the principal portion and interest on the special assessment <br />levied on said parcel pursuant to the provisions of Section 5719o16 <br />of the Revised Code of the State of Ohio, and, <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, This resolution constitutes an emergency measure <br />providing for the usual daily operation of a municipal department; <br />now, therefore, <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD, STATE <br />OF CHI0: <br /> <br /> Section 1. That the Director of Finance of the City of <br />Lakewood be and he is hereby authorized and directed to accept the <br />sum of $34.12 tendered in payment of the principal and interest <br />for the years 1964 and 1965 of special assessment charged against <br />the property described as permanent parcel number 314-3-104 on the <br />Auditor's records of Cuyahoga County, Ohio, and levied under <br />Ordinance No. 49-60, adopted by the Council of the City of Lakewood <br />on June ZO, 1960. <br /> <br /> Section 2. That said special assessment as hereinbefore set <br />forth having been accepted as set forth in Section 1 hereof, and <br />the Auditor of Cuyahoga County be and he is hereby authorized to <br />cancel said special assessment for the years 1964 and 1965 levied <br />under Ordinance No. 49-60, adopted by the Council of the City of <br />Lakewood on June 20, 1960 on permanent parcel number 314-3-104 on <br />the County Auditor's records and further described as being Sub- <br />lot number 52 in the John Ensign Lakewood Subdivision, each annual <br />assessment being in the amount of $17.06. <br /> <br /> Section 3. That the Clerk of Council be and she is hereby <br />authorized and directed to deliver a certified copy of this reso- <br />lution to the Auditor of Cuyahoga County for the purpose of hav- <br />ing said special assessment canceled. <br /> <br /> Section 4. That this resolution is hereby declared to be an <br />emergency measure for the reasons stated in the preamble hereof <br />and provided it receives the affirmative vote of two-thirds of all <br />members elected to Council, it shall take effect and be in force <br />immediately upon its adoption and approval by the Mayor. <br /> <br />President <br /> <br /> Clerk <br /> <br />Mayor <br /> <br /> <br />
