RESOLUTION NO. 4363 BY: Messrs. Huffman, Usher, Ward, Wendling, Cain, Gaydos. AN EMERGENCY RESOLUTION authorizing and directing the Finance Director of the City of Lakewood to accept the principal and in- terest on special assessment levied on permanent parcel number ~14-18-3~ and 314-16-35 on the Cuyahoga County Auditor's records and authorizing the County Auditor to cancel said special assess- ments for the Years 1964, 1965~ 1966, 1967 and 1968. WHEREAS, the City has special assessments charged against the property hereinafter described and levied under Ordinance No. 12-64~ adopted by the Council of the City of Lakewood on March 2, 1964, and, WHEREAS, The owner of the said property has tendered Pay- ment of the principal portion and interest on the special assess- ments levied on said parcels pursuant to the provisions of Section 5719.16 of the Revised Code of the State of Ohio, and, WHEREAS, This resolution constitutes an emergency measure providing for the usual daily operation of a municipal depart- ment~ now, therefore, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD, STATE OF 0HIO: Section 1. That the Director of Finance of the City of Lakewood be and he is hereby authorized and directed to accept the sum of $104.15 tendered in payment of the principal and inter- est for the years 1964 through 1968 of special assessments charged against the property described as permanent parcel number 314-16-34 and 314-16-35 on the Auditor.s records of Cuyahoga County, Ohio, and levied under Ordinance No. 12-64, adopted by the Council of the City of Lakewood on March 2, 1964. Section 2. That said special assessments as hereinbefore set forth having been accepted as set forth in Section 1 hereof, and the Auditor of Cuyahoga County be and he is hereby authorized to cancel said special assessments for the years 1964 through 1968 levied under Ordinance No. 12-64, adopted by the Council of the City of Lakewood on March 2, 1964~ on permanent parcel number 314-16-34 and 31~-16-35 on the County Auditor's records and (no sublot number) in the C. Cobb Subdivision, each annual assessment being in the amount of $4.81 and $16.02 respectively. Section 3.. That the Clerk of Council be and she is hereby authorized and directed to deliver a certified copy of this reso- lution to the Auditor of Cuyahoga County for the purpose of hav- ing said special ~ssessments canceled. Section 4. That this resolution is hereby declared to be an emergency measure for the reasons stated in the preamble hereof and provided it receives the affirmative vote of two-thirds of all members elected to Council, it shall take effect and be in force immediately upon its adoption and approval by the Mayor.
