AS AMENDED - MEETING OCTOBER 5 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 4368 BY: Messrs. Bennett, Cain, <br /> Gaydos, Usher, <br /> Ward. <br /> <br /> AN EMERGENCY RESOLUTION advising the Lakewood Board of <br />ZOning and Building Code Appeals that the Lakewood City Council <br />recommends against the granting of any extension or expansion of <br />a non-conforming use in the City of Lakewood pending completion <br />of the Master Plan. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS~ It has come to the attention of the members of <br />the Lakewood City Council that an application is pending before <br />the Lakewood Board of Zoning and Building Code Appeals wherein <br />the applicant seeks to extend or expand the non-conforming use, <br />towit~ a gasoline station located at 12027 Lake Avenue, and, <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Said applicant seeks by this means to obtain <br />permission to repair automobiles, operate vending machines and <br />conduct an automobile rental agency, and, <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, In the opinion of this Council the best inter- <br />ests of the City of Lakewood, its residents and the immediate <br />neighborhood would suffer irreparably from such an extended or <br />expanded non-conforming use; now, therefore, <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LAKEW00D, <br />STATE OF OHIO: <br /> <br /> Section 1. That the Lakewood Board of Zoning and <br />Building Code Appeals be and the same is hereby strenuously <br />urged to reject the application for an extended or expanded <br />use now pending before it in regard to the premises known as <br />1R027 Lake Avenue, Lakewood, Ohio. <br /> <br /> Section 2. That the Clerk of the Council be and she <br />is hereby authorized and directed to immediately transmit a copy <br />of this resolution to the Lakewood Board of Zoning and Building <br />Code Appeals. <br /> <br /> Section 3. That this resolution is hereby declared to <br />be an emergency measure and provided it receives the affirmative <br />vote of two-thirds of all members elected to Council, it shall <br />take effect and be in force immediately upon its adoption and <br />approval by the Mayor. <br /> <br />Adopted: 0ctqber 5~ 1964 <br /> <br />John Gaydos~.
