RESOLUTION NO. 4393 <br /> <br />Messrs. Ward, Bennett, <br /> Cain, Gaydos, <br /> Huffman, Usher. <br /> <br /> AN EMERGENCY RESOLUTION authorizing and direct-. <br />ing the Director of Public Works to enter into a contract or <br />contracts for the purchase of street signs for use in ~he Division <br />of Streets, Sewers and Sidewalks, Department of Public Works. <br /> <br /> WHEPO~AS, This resolution constitutes an emergency <br />measure in that it provides for the immediate preservation of the <br />public safety and welfare and for the usual daily operation of a <br />municipal department; now~ therefore, <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF TF~ CITY OF <br />LAKEWOOD, STATE OF OHIO: <br /> <br /> Section i. That the Director of Public Works be and he is <br />hereby authorized and directed to enter into a contract or con- <br />tracts for the purchase of street signs for use in the Division <br />of Streets, Sewers ~nd Sidewalks, Department of Public Works~ <br />with the lowest and best bidder or bidders after advertisement <br />according to lawo <br /> <br /> Section 2. This resolution is hereby declared to be an <br />emergency measure for the reasons stated in the preamble hereof <br />and provided it receives the affirmative vote of two-thirds of <br />all members elected to Council, it shall take effect and be in <br />force immediately upon its adoption and approval by the Mayor. <br /> <br />Adopted:,,,?ebI~/a~y 15,,1965 <br /> John Gaydos,.
