SOLUT ON SO. <br /> <br /> AN EMERGENCY RESOLUTION authorizing and directing <br />the Director of Public Works to enter into a contract~ <br />after approval by Council~ for the installation of approx- <br />imately 1830 feet of twelve-inch water main in Detroit <br />Avenue between Warren Road easterly to Manor Park Avenue° <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, This Council has determined to proceed <br />with the improvement set forth in the title hereof by con- <br />tract, and, <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, This resolution constitutes an emergency <br />measure providing for the immediate preservation of the public <br />health and safety and for the usual daily operation of a muni- <br />cipal department; now, therefore, <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LAF~WOOD~ <br />STATE OF OHIO: <br /> <br /> Section 1o That the Director of Public Works be and <br />he is hereby authorized to enter into a contract for the in- <br />stallation of approximately 1830 feet of twelve-inch water <br />main in Detroit Avenue between Warren Road and Manor Park <br />Avenue, in accordance with plans prepared therefor in the <br />office of the Director of Public Works, with the lowest and <br />best bidder after advertisement according to law, and only <br />after approval of such contract by the Council of the City <br />of Lakewoodo <br /> <br /> Section 20 This resolution is hereby declared to <br />be an emergency measure for the reasons stated in the preamble <br />hereof and provided it receives the affirmative vote of two- <br />thirds of all members elected to Council, it shall take effect <br />and be in force immediately upon its adoption and approval by <br />the Mayoro <br /> <br />President <br /> <br />roved: <br /> <br />Clerk <br /> <br />Mayor <br /> <br /> <br />
