Bennett, Cain, <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 4446 BY: Gaydos, Huffman, <br /> Usher, Ward, <br /> Wendling. <br /> AN EMERGENCY RESOLUTION authorizing and directing the <br />Director of Public Works to enter into a contract or contracts <br />for the purchase of the necessary requirements of valves and <br />pipe fittings for the year 1966 for use in the Division of Water. <br /> <br /> WHERe%S, This resolution constitutes an emergency measure <br />providing for the immediate preservation of the public property <br />and welfare and for the usual daily operation of a municipal <br />department; now. therefore, <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY 'I~E COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF L?~OOD, <br />STATE OF OHIO: <br /> <br /> Section 1. That the Director of Public Works be and he <br />is hereby authorized and directed to enter into a contract <br />or contracts for the purchase of the necessary requirements <br />of valves and pipe fittings for the year 1966 for use in the <br />Division of Water, with the lowest and best bidder or bidders <br />after advertisement according to law. <br /> <br /> Section 2. That 'this resolution is hereby declared ~o <br />be an emergency measure for the reasons stated in the preamble <br />hereof and provided it receives the affirmative vote of two- <br />thirds of all members elected to Council, it shall take effect <br />and be in force immediately upon its adoption and approval <br />by the Mayor. <br /> <br />Adopted:.Dec~mber 6~ 196~ John Ga~dos. <br /> President' <br /> <br />Approved: .December 9, 1965 <br /> <br />Mary Adams <br /> Clerk <br /> <br />Robert.
