RESOLUTION NO. 4448 BY: Messrs. Huffman, Usher, Ward, Wendling, Bennett, Cain, Gaydos. AN EMERGENCY RESOLUTION authorizing and directing the Finance Director of the City of Lakewood to adopt the principal and inter- est on special assessment levied on permanent parcel number 314- 17-36 on the Cuyahoga County Auditor's records and authorizing the County Auditor to cancel said special assessment for the years 1966, 1967 and 1968. WHEREAS, the City has special assessment charged against the property hereinafter described and levied under Ordinance No. 46-63 adopted by the Council of the City of Lakewood on June 3, 1963, and, WHEREAS, The owner of the said property has tendered payment of the principal port,on and interest on the special assessment levied on said parcel pursuant to the provisions of Section 5719.16 of the Revised Code of the State of Ohio, and, WHEREAS, This resolution constitutes an emergency measure providing for the usual daily operation of a municipal department~ now~ therefore, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD, STATE OF OHIO~. Section 1. That the Director of Finance of the City of Lakewood be and he is hereby authorized and directed $o accept the sum of $63.66 tendered in payment of the principal and~lnterest for the years 1966, 1967 and 1968 of special assessment charged against the property described as permanent parcel number 314-17-36 on the Auditor's records of Cuyahoga County, Ohio, and levied under Ordinance No. 46-63, adopted by the Council of the City of Lakewood on June 3, 1963. Section 2. That said special assessment as hereinbefore set forth having been accepted as set forth in Sec~on 1 hereof, and the Auditor of Cuyahoga County be and he is hereby authorized to cancel said special assessment for the years 1966 through 1968 levied under Ordinance No. 46-63, adopted by the Council of the City of Lakewood on June 3, 1963, on permanent parcel number 314- 17-36, on the County Auditor's records and further described as be- ing Sublot No. 74, in the Hansen's-Andmar Subdivision, each annual assessment being in the amount of $21.22. Section 3. That the Clerk of Council be and she is hereby authorized and directed to deliver a certified copy of this reso- lution to the Auditor of Cuyahoga County!~or the purpose of having said special assessment canceled. Section 4. That this resolution is hereby declared to be an emergency measure for the reasons stated in the preamble hereof and provided it receives the affirmative vote of two-thirds of all members elected to Council, it shall take effect and be in force immediately upon its adoption and approval by the Mayor.
