RESOLUTION NO. 4464 BY: Messrs. Kelley, Usher, <br /> Ward, Wendling, <br /> Cain, Huffmano <br /> AN EMERGENCY RESOLUTION authorizing and directing the Finance <br />Director of the City of Lakewood to accept the principal and inter- <br />est on special assessment levied on permanent parcel number 312-26- <br />66 on the Cuyahoga County Auditor's records and authorizing the <br />County Auditor to cancel said special assessment for the years <br />1966, 1967 and 1968. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City has special assessment charged against <br />the property hereinafter des~ibed and levied under Ordinance No. <br />23-64 adopted by the Council of the City of Lakewood on March 2, <br />1964, and, <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, The owner of the said property has tendered pay- <br />ment of the principal portion and interest on the special assess- <br />ment levied on said parcel pursuant to the provisions of Section <br />5719.16 of the Revised Code of the State of Ohio, and, <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, This resolution constitutes an emergency measure <br />providing for the usual daily operation of a municipal department~ <br />now, therefore, <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD, STATE <br />OF OHIO: <br /> <br /> Section 1. That the Director of Finance of the City of <br />Lakewood be and he is hereby authorized and directed to accept the <br />sum of $73.20, tendered in payment of the principal and inter~st <br />for the years 1966, 1967 and 1968 of special assessment charged <br />against the property described as permanent parcel number 312-26-66 <br />on the Auditor's records of Cuyahoga County, Ohio, and levied un- <br />der Ordinance No. 23-64, adopted by the Council of the City of <br />Lakewood on March 2, 1964. <br /> <br /> Section 2. That said special assessment as hereinbefore <br />set forth having been accepted as set forth in Section t, hereof, <br />and the Auditor of Cuyahoga County be and he is hereby authorized <br />to cancel said special assessment for the years 1966, 1967 and <br />1968, levied under Ordinance No. 23-64, adopted by the Council of <br />the City of L~kewood on March 2, 1964, on permanent parcel number <br />312-26-66, on the County Auditor's records and further described <br />as being Sublot 13, in the C. H. McGintrye Company's Ideal Subdi- <br />vision, each annual assessment being in the amount of $24.40. <br /> <br /> Section 3. That the Clerk of Council be and she is hereby <br />authorized and directed to deliver a certified copy of this reso- <br />lution to the Auditor of Cuyahoga County for the purpose of having <br />said special assessment canceled. <br /> <br /> Section 4. That this resolution is hereby declared to be <br />an emergency measure for the reasons stated in the preamble hereof <br />and provided it receives the affirmative vote of two-thirds of <br />all members elected to Council, it shall take effect and be in <br />force immediately upon its adoption and approval by the Mayor. <br /> <br />Adopted:..JanuarylT~ 1966 <br /> <br />APproved:Januar._. y 20~. 1966 . <br /> <br />Charles S.
