RESOLUTION NO. 4487 BY: <br /> <br />Messrs. Usher, Ward~ <br /> Wendting, Cain, <br /> Huffman, Kelley <br /> <br /> AN EMERGENCY RESOLUTION authorizing the Director of Public <br />Safety to enter into a contract or contracts for the purchase 6f <br />seven sedans and three station wagons for the Division of Police <br />of the City of Lakewood Safety Department, and one station wagon for <br />the Division of Fire of the City of Lakewood Safety Department. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, This resolution constitutes an emergency measure <br />iN that it provides for the immediate preservation of the public <br />safety and welfare and for the usual daily operation of municipal <br />departments, now, therefore, <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD, <br />STATE'OF OHIO: <br /> <br /> Section 1. T~t~he Director of Public Safety be and he is <br />hereby authorized and directed to enter into a contract or contracts <br />for the purchase of seven sedans and three station wagons for the <br />Division of Police and for the sale of seven sedans and three station <br />wagons as trade-in o~.su~h new vehicles with the lowest and best bidder <br />or bidders afte~ advertisement according to law. <br /> <br /> Section 2. That the Director of Public Safety be and he is <br />hereby authorized and directed to enter into a contract for the purchase <br />of O.Re station wagon for the Division of Fire and for the sale of <br />one station wagon as trade-in on such new vehicle with the lowest and <br />best bidder or bidders after advertisement according to law. <br /> <br /> Section 3.
