RESOLUTION NO, <br /> <br />4526 <br /> <br />BY: Gayd0s, Huffmaa, Kelley, <br /> Usher, Ward, Weadling and Cain <br /> <br />AN EMERGENCY RESOLUTION authorizing the Director of Public Works <br />to enter into a contract or contracts for the purchase of ~eed <br />motor vehicle equipment for the Department of Public Works, <br />of the City of Lakewood. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, This Resolution constitutes an emergency measure in that <br />it provides for the immediate preservation of the public safety <br />aud welfare and for the usual daily operation of municipal <br />departments, now, therefore, <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD~ STATE OF OHIO: <br /> <br />Section 1. That the Director of Public Works be and he is hereby <br />authorized and directed to enter into a contract or contracts for <br />the purchase of used motor vehicle equipment, with the lowest and <br />best bidder after advertisement according to law. <br /> <br />Section ~. This Resolution is hereby declared to be an emergency <br />measure for the reasons stated in the preamble hereof and provided <br />it receives the affirmative vote of two-thirds of all members <br />elected to Council, it shall take effect and be in force immediately <br />upon its adoption and approval by the Mayor. <br /> <br />Adopted}e~ember l~ 1966 .... <br /> <br />Approvedgecember 1, !966 <br /> <br />Huf~n.
