RESOLUTION NO. 4541 <br /> <br />BY: Messrs. Cain, Gaydos, Huffman, <br /> Kelley, Usher, Ward & Wendling. <br /> <br /> AN EMERGENCY RESOLUTION authorizing and directing the Finance Director <br />of the City of Lakewood to accept the principal and interest on special <br />assessment levied on permanent parcel number 315-10-49, and known for <br />street numbering purposes as 12815 Detroit Avenue, on the Cuyahoga County <br />Auditor's records and authorizing the County Auditor to cancel said <br />special assesament for the years 1967, 1968, 1969 and 1970. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City has special assessment charged against the <br />proper~y hereinafter described and levied under Ordinance No. 22-66, <br />adopted by the Council of the City of Lakewood on March 21, 1966~ and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the owner of the Said property has. tendered payment of the <br />principal portion and interest on the special a~sessment levied on Said <br />parcel pursuant to the provisions of Sectio~ 5719.16 of the Revised Code <br />of the State of Ohio, and, <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, This resolution c~nsCitutes an emergency measure providing <br />for the usual daily operation of a municipal department; now, therefore~ <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OFLAKEWOOD, STATE OF OHIO: <br /> <br /> Section I. That the Director of Finance Of the City of Lakewood be and <br />he is hereby authorized and directed to accept the sum of $102.40 tendered <br />in payment of the principal and interest for the years 1967, 1968, 1969 <br />amd 1970 of special assessment charged against the property described as <br />permanent parcel number 315-10-~9 on the Auditor's records of Cuyahoga <br />County, Ohio, snd levied under Ordinance 22-6 adopted by the Council of <br />the City of Lakewood on March 21, 1966. <br /> <br /> Section 2. That said special assessment as hereinbefore set forth <br />having been accepted as set forth in Section 1 hereof, and the Auditor <br />of Cuyahoga County be and he is hereby authorized to cancel said special <br />assessment for the years 1967, 1968, 1969 and 1970, levied under Ordinance <br />No, 22-66 adopted by the Council of the City of Lakewood on March 21, 1966, <br />on Permanent parcel number 315-10-49 in the Humiston, Wehrman and <br />Bradford Subdivision, each annual assessment being in the amount of $25.60. <br /> <br /> Section 3. That the Clerk of Council be and she is hereby authorized <br />and directed to deliver a certified copy of this resolution to the Auditor <br />of Cuyahoga County fo~ the purpose of having said special assessment <br />canceled. <br /> <br /> Section 4. That this resolution is hereby declared to be an emergency <br />measure for the reasons stated in the preamble hereof and provided it <br />receives the affirmative vote of two-thirds of all members elected to <br />Council, it shall take effect and be in force immediately upon its <br />adoption and approval by the Mayor. <br /> <br />Adopted: <br /> <br />February 6, %~67 <br /> <br />Charles S.
