Csin, Gaydos, <br /> Huff~an, Kelley, Usher, <br /> Ward <br /> <br /> AN EMERGENCY RESOLUTrO~mu,thortzing and directing <br />the Director of Public Works to enter into a contract for the <br />furnishing of electric street lighting service. <br /> <br /> W~EREAS~ Electric street lighting is essential to <br />pedestrian and ,zehicular traffic within the Citlz of Lakewood, <br />and, <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, This resolution constitutes an emergency <br />measure providing for the immediate preservation of the public <br />health, safety and welfare and for the usual daily operation of <br />a municipal department; now. therefore~ <br /> <br /> BE iT RESOLVED BY THE COU~'CiL OF THE CITY OF <br />LAKEWOOD, STATE 0~ OHIO: <br /> <br /> Section 1. Tha% the Director of Publze Works he <br />and he is hereby authorized :and directed to enter in%o a contraCt <br />for the furnishing of electric street lighting service with the <br />lowest and besh bidder after advertisement according to la'w, <br /> <br /> Section 2. This resolution is hereby declared to <br />be an emergency measure for the reasons stated mn the preamble <br />hereof and provided it receives the affirmative vo~e of two- <br />thirds of all members elected to Council, it shall take effect <br />and be in force immediately upon its adoption and appro~ra! by <br />the Mayor. <br /> <br />Adopted: .~ March .20~ 1967 <br /> <br />Gharie~ S.
