RE SOLUTION NO. 4565 <br /> <br />BY: Messrs. Cain, Gaydos, Huffman, <br /> Kelley, Usher, Ward and Wendling <br /> <br /> AN EMERGENCY RESOLUTION authorizing and directing the Finance Director <br />of the City of Lakewood to accept the principal and interest on special <br />assessment levied on permanent parcel number 314-7-115, and known for <br />street numbering purposes aa 1433 Olivewood Avenue, on the~ Cuyahog~ County <br />Auditor's records and authorizing the County Auditor to cancel said special <br />assessment for the years 1967, 1968, 1969 and 1970. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City has special assessment charged against the property <br />hereinafter described and levied under Ordinance No. 23-66 adopted by the <br />Council of the City of Lakewood on March 21, 1966, and, <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, The owner of the said property hag tendered payment of the <br />principal portion and interest on the special assessment levied on said <br />parcel pursuant to the provisions of Section 5719.16 of the Revised Code <br />of the State of Ohio, and, <br /> <br /> %~EREA$, This resolution constitutes au emergenoy measure providing <br />for the usual daily operation of a municipal department; now, therefore, <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD, STATE OF OHIO.~' <br /> <br /> Section 1. That the Director of Finance of the City of Lakewood be <br />and he is hereby authorized and directed to accept the sum of $53.36 <br />tendered in payment of the principal and interest for the years 1967, 1968, <br />1969 and 1970 of special assessment charged against the property described <br />as permanent parcel number 314-7-115 on the Auditor's records of Cuyahoga <br />County, Ohto~ and levied under Ordinance No. 23-66, adopted by the Council <br />of the City of Lakewood on March 21, 1966. <br /> <br /> Section 2. That said special assessment as hereinbefore set forth <br />having been accepted as set forth in Section 1 hereof, and the Auditor of <br />Cuyaho§a County he and he is hereby authorized to cancel said special <br />assessmeet for the years 1967, 1968, 1969 and 1970 levied under <br />Ordinance No. 23-66, adopted by the Council of the City of Lakewood on <br />March 21, 1966 on permanent parcel number 314-7-115 on the County Auditor's <br />records and further described as being in the J, W. Hamby's Lakewood <br />Subdivision, Volume 28, Page 26, each annual assessment being in the amount <br />of $13.34. <br /> <br /> Section 3. That the Clerk of Council be and she is hereby authorized <br />and directed to deliver a certified copy of this resolution to the Auditor <br />of Cuyahoga County for the purpose of having said special assessment <br />canceled. <br /> <br /> Section 4. That this resolution is hereby declared tO be an emergency <br />measure for the reasoes stated in the preamble hereof and provided it <br />receives the affirmative vote of two-thirds of all members elected to <br />Council, it shall take effect and be in force immediately upon its adoption <br />and approval by the Mayor. <br /> <br />Charles S.
