RESOLHTION N0.4583 BY: Messrs. Cains Gaydos, Huffman, Kelley, Usher, Ward & Wendling AN EMERGENCY EESOLUTION authorizing snd directing the Finance Director of the City of Lakewood to accept the principal and interest on special assess- ment levied on permanent parcel number 311-30-1C2: and known for street number- ing purposes as 1329 hall 2% a~ue, oa the Cuyahoga County Auditor's records and authorizing the County Auditor to cmncel said special assessment for the year 1968. ~EREAS, the City has special assessment charged against the property hereinafter described and levied under Ordinance No~ 17-64, adopted by the Council of the City of Lakewood on March 2, 1964: and, WHEREAS, The owner of the said property has tendered payment of the principal portion and interest on the special assessment levied on said parcel pursuant to the provisions of Section 5719.16 of the ~evised Code of the State of Ohio, and, WHEREAS, This resolution constitutes an emergency measure providin~ for the usual daily operation of a municipal department ; now, therefore; BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD, STATE OF OHIO: Section 1. That the Director of Finance of the City of Lakewood be and he is hereby authorized and directed to accept the sum of $13.32 tendered in payment of the principal and i~erest for the year 1968~ of special assess- ment charged against the property describa~ as permanent parcel number 311-30-102 on the Auditor's records of Cuyahoga County~ Ohio, and levied under Ordinance 17-64, adopted by the Council of the City of Lakewood on March 2, 1964. Section 2. That said special assessment ~s hereinbefore set forth having been accepted as set forth in Section ! hereof~ and the Auditor of Cuyahoga County be and he is hereby authorized to ca'acel said special assess- ment for the year 1968, levied under Ordinance No~ 17-6~ adopted by the Council of the City of L~kewood on March 2, t964 on permanent parcel number 311-30-102 on the County Auditor's records and further described as being iD the WestLake Subdivision. Volume 28, Page 1]~ each annual assessment being in the amount of Section 3. That the Clerk of Council be and she is hereby authorized and directed to deliver a certified copy of this resolution to the Auditor of Cuyahoga County for the purpose of having said special assessment canceled. Section 4. That this resolutien is hereby declared to be an emergency ~eesure for the reasons stated in the preamble hereof and provided it receives ~he affirmative vote of two-thirds of all members elected to Council, it shall take effect and be in force immediately upon its adoption and approval by the Mayor.
