RESOLUTION NO. 458? BY: Messrs. Cain, Gaydos, Ruffman, Kelley, Usher, Ward, Wendling AN EMERGENCY RESOLUTION authorizing and directing the Finance Directo~? of the City of Lakewood to accept the principal and interest on special ass'~§- ment l~vied on permanent parcel number 313~19-156, and known for street number- ing purposes aa 1487 Winton Avenue, on the Cuyahoga County Auditor~s records and authorizing the County Auditor to cancel said special assessment for the years 1968, 1969, 1970. WHEREAS, the City has special assessment charged against the property hereinafter described and levied under Ordinance No. 19-66, adopted by the Council of the City of Lakewoed on l~rch 21, 1966, and, WHEREAS, The owner of the said property has tendered payment of the pri~cipal portion and interest on the special assessment levied on said parcel pursuant to the provisions of Section 5719.16 of the Revised Code of the State of Ohio, and, WHEREAS, This resolution constitutes an emergency measure providing for the usual daily operation of a municipal department~ now, therefore, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD, STATE OF OEIO: Section 1. That the Director of Finance of the City of Lakewood be and he is hereby authorized and directed to accept the sum of $43.02 tendered in payment of the principal and interest for the years 1968, 1969 and 1970, of special assessment charged against the property described as permanent parcel number 313-19-156 on the Auditor's records of Cuyahoga County, Ohio, and levied under Ordinance 19-66, adopted by the Council of the City of Lakewood on March 21, 1966. Section 2. That said special assessment as hereinbefore set forth having been accepted as set forth in Sectinn 1 hereof, and the Auditor of Cuyahoga County be and he is hereby authorized to cancel said special assess- ment for the years 1968, 1969 and 1970, levied under Ordinance No. 19-66 adopted by the Council of the City of Lakewood on March 21~ 1966 On permanent parcel number 313-19-156 on the County Auditor's records and further deacribed as being in the Mathews-Gilbert Subdivi~on, Volume 28 page 29, each annual assessment being in the amount of $14.34. Section 3. That the Clerk of Council be and she is hereby authorized and directed to deliver a certified copy of this resolution to the Auditor of Cuyahoga County for the purpose of having said special assessment canceled. Section 4. That this resolution is hereby declared to be an emergency measure for the reasons stated in the preamble hereof and provided it receives the affirmative vote of two-thirds of all members elected to Council, it shall take effect and be in force immediately upon its adoption and approval by the Mayor.
