RESOLUTION NO. <br /> <br />4588 BY: Messrs. Gayd~s, Huffman, Kelley, <br /> Usher, Ward, wandl£ng and Cain <br /> <br />AN EMERGENCY RESOLUTION authorizing and directing the Finance Director <br />of the City of Lakewood to accept the principal and interest on special <br />assessment levied on permanent parcel number 313-2-37~ and known for <br />street numbering purposes as 17706 Narragansett Avenue, on the Cuyahoga <br />County Auditor's records and authorizing the County Auditor to cancel <br />said special assessment for the year 1968. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City has special assessment charged against the property <br />hereinafter described and levied under Ordinance No. 24-64, adopted by <br />the Council of the City of Lakewood on March 3~ 1964~ and~ <br /> WHEREAS, The owner of the said property has tendered payment of the <br /> principal portion and interest on the special assessment levied on said <br /> parcel pursuant to the provisions of Section 5719.16 of the Revised Code <br /> of the State of Ohfo~ and, <br /> NttEREAS~ This resolution constitutes an emergency measure providing for <br /> the usual daily operation of a municipal department, now, therefore~ <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD, STATE OF OHIO: <br /> Section 1. That the Director of Finance of the City of Lake~ood be and <br /> he is hereby authorized and directed to accept the sum of $29.70 tendered <br /> in payment of the principal and interest for the year 1968, of special <br /> assessment charged against the property described as permanent parcel <br /> number 313-2-37, on the Auditor's records ef Cuyahoga County~ Ohio, and <br /> levied under Ordinance 24-64~ adopted by the Council of the City of <br /> Lakewood on March 3., 1964. <br /> Section 2. That said special assessment as hereinbefore set forth having <br /> been accepted as set forth in Section 1 hereof, and the Auditor of <br /> Cuyahoga County be and he is hereby authorized to cancel said special <br /> assessment for the year 1968, levied under Ordinance No. 24-64 adopted <br /> by the Council of the City of Lakewood on March 3 , 1964 on permanent <br /> parcel number 313-2-37 on the County Auditor's records and further <br /> described as being in the Mars Wager Realty Company Indian Hts. Allotment, <br /> each annual assessment being in the amount of $29.70 <br /> Section 3. That the Clerk of Council be and she is hereby authorized <br /> and directed to deliver a certified copy of this resolution to the Auditor <br /> of Cuyahoga County for the purpose of having said special assessment <br /> canceled. <br /> <br /> Section 4.
