Graber, Huffman, Kelley, <br />Usher, Ward, Wendiing, Gaydos <br /> <br /> AN EMERGEIiC¥ RESOLUTION authorizing and directing the <br />Director of Public Works to enter into a contract, after <br />approval by Counci!~ for the construction of approximately <br />2,300 feet of twelve-inch water main in Detroit Avenue <br />extending from Rosewood Avenue to Warren Road. <br /> <br /> WHERF~%S, This Council has determined to proceed with <br />the improvement set forth in 'the title hereof by contract, <br />and, <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, This resolution constitutes an emergency <br />measure providing for the immediate preservation of the <br />public health and safety and for the usual daily operation <br />of a municipal department; now, therefore, <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD, <br />STATE OF OHIO: <br /> <br /> Section 1. That the Director of Public Works be and <br />he hereby is authorized to enter into a contract for the' <br />construction of approximately 2,300 feet of twelve-inch <br />water main in Detroit Avenue extending from Rosewood <br />Avenue to Warren Road~ in accordance with plans prepared <br />therefore in the office of the Director of Public Works, <br />with the lowest and best bidder after advertisement accord- <br />ing to la~-~, and only ~fter approval of such contract by the <br />Council of the City of Lakewood. <br /> <br /> Section 2.
