RESOLUTION NO. 4608 <br /> <br />BY: Messrs. Gaydos, Graber, Huffmau, <br /> Kelley, Usher, Ward and Weudling <br /> <br /> AN EMERGENCY E.ESO~T!ON authorizing and directing the <br />Director of Public Works to enter into a requirement contract <br />or contracts for i;he purchase of street repair materials for <br />a period of one (1) year commencing April I, 1968. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, This resolution constitutes an emergency measure <br />providing for the usual daily operation of a municipal depart- <br />ment; now, therefore, <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD, <br />STATE OF OHIo: <br /> <br /> Section 1. That the Director of Public Works be and he <br />is hereby authorized and directed to enter into a requirement <br />contract or contracts for the purchase of street repair mater- <br />ials for a period of one (1) year commencing April 1, 1968, <br />in accordance with the list of such materials on file in the <br />office of the Director of Public Works, with the lowest and <br />best bidder or bidders after advertisement according to law. <br /> <br /> Section 2. That this resolution is hereby declared to <br />be an emergency measure for the reasons stated in the preamble <br />hereof and provided it receives the affirmative vote of two- <br />thirds of all members elected to Council, it shall take effect <br />and be in force immediately upon its adoption and approval by <br />the Mayor. <br /> <br />Adopted:....
