RESOLUTION NO. 4~5~ BY: Mess~s. Graber, ituffman~ Usher, Wamd, Wendling AN EMERGENCY RESOLUTION authorizing and directing the Finance Director of the City of Lakewood to accept the principal and in- terest on special assessment levied on permanent parcel number 313-22-106, and known for street numbering purposes as 1458 North- land Ave.~ on the Cuyahoga County Auditor's records and authorizing the County Auditor to cancel said special assessment for the years 1968 & 1969. WHEREAS, the City of Lakewood has special assessment charged against the property hereinafter described and levied under Ordin- ance No. 56-64 adopted by the Council of the City on May 7~ 1964, and WHEREAS, the owner of the said property has tendered payment of the principal portion and interest on the special assessment lev- ied on said parcel pursuant to the provisions of Section 5719o16 of the Revised Code of the State of Ohio~ and WHEREAS, this resolution constitutes an emergency measure pro- viding for the usual daily operation of a municipal department; now, therefore: BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD, STATE OF 0HI0: Section 1. That the Director of Finance of the City of Lake- wood be and he is hereby authorized and directed to accept the sum of $62.56 tendered in payment of the principal and interest for the years 1968 & 1969, of special assessment charged against t~e property described as permanent parcel number 313-22-106 on the Audztor~s records of Cuyahoga County, Ohio~ and levied under Ordinance adopted by the Council of the City of Lakewood on May 7~ 196~. Section ~. That said special assessment as hereinbefore set forth having been accepted as set forth in Section t hereof, and the Auditor of Cuyahoga County be and he is hereby authorized to cancel said special assessment for the years 1968 & 1969, levied under Ordinance No. 56-64, adopted by the Council of the City of Lakewood on May 7, 1964 on permanent parcel number 313-22-106 on the County Auditor's records and further described as being in the Advance Real Estate Company Subdivision Number 1, Volume 40, Page 20, each annual assessment being in the amount of $31.28. Section 3. That the Clerk of Council be and she is hereby authorized and directed to deliver a certified copy of this resolu- tion to the Auditor of Cuyahoga County for the purpose of having said special assessment canceled. Section 4. That this resolutdon is hereby declared to be an emergency measure for the reasons stated in the preamble hereof and provided it receives the affirmative vote o~ two-thirds of all mem- bers elected to Council, it shall take effect and be in force immed- iately upon its adoption and approval by the Y~ayor.
