Huffman, Kelley, Usher, l~endling, Gaydos~ Graber AN EFiE~GENCY RESQLUTION authorizing the Director of Public Works to advertise for bids for the sale of certain real estate ]~©caked at 1471 Belle Avenue in the City of Lakewood and here.%nafter specifically described~ which property is now owned iby the City of Lakewood and is Dot needed for any municipal pur~ose~ WHEREAS, The said real property was initially purchased for the storage of hospital equipment during the construction of the addition to Lakewood Hospita!~and~ WMEREAS~ Sufficient facilities have been constructed to house the aforementioned hospital eqaipment and supplies~ and, WHEREAS~ The said real property owned by the City of Lakewood is no longer needed fcr any municipal purpose~ and~ WHEREAS~ This resolution constitutes an emergency measure in 'that it provides for the immediate preservation of the public health, safety and welfare and for ~he usual daily operation of a municipal department~ now~ therefore, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF I~KEWOOD, STATE OF OHIO: Section 1o That the Director of Public Works is hereby authorized to advertise for bids for the sale of a certain parcel of real estate now owned by the City of Lakewood and described as follows: Situa~ed in the City of Lakewood, County of Cuyahoga~ State of ~nio and being known as Sublot No. 120 in the Belle Avenue Allotment of part of Original Rockport Township Section NO.22 as shown by the recorded plat in Volume gl of Maps~ Page 23 of Cuyahoga County Records, and being 45 feet front on the Easterly side of Belle Avenue~ 187o52 feet deep on the Southerly line, 187~62 feet deep on the Northerly line and 45 feet in 'the rear~ as appears by said plat, be the same more or less: but s~bject to all legal highwsys. Section 2~ That said advertise~ent shall state that any contract for the sale of said property shall be subject to t~e approval of Council; that the conveyance will be by the usual form of warranty deed used by the City, and shall be subject to taxes and assessments, both general and special, if any~ all of which shall be prorated as of the date of filing the deed for record and subject to restrictions~ conditions and reservations of record and zoning ordinances: that the escrow fee shall be paid one-half by the City and one~-ha]f by ~e purchaser and that the City reserves t~e right to re'~ect any and all bids, or any part fhereofo
