RESOLUTION NO. 4667 BY: Messrs. Nuffma~, Kelley, Usher, Wendling, Gaydos, Graber AN EMERGENCY RESOLUTION authorizing and directing the Finance Director of the City of LakeWood to accept the principal and interest on special assessment levied on permanent parcel number 313-26-45, and known for street numbering purposes as 1499-1501 Lakeland Avenue, on the Cuyahoga County Auditor's ~ecords and authorizing the County Auditor to cancel said special assessment for the years 1969, 1970 and 1971. WHEREAS, the City has special assessment charged against the property hereinafter described and levied under Ordinance No. 20-67, adopted by the ~ouncil of the City of Lakewood on April 17, 1967, and, WHEREAS, the owner of the said property has tendered payment of the principal portion and interest on the special assessment levied on said parcel pursuant to the provision~ of Section 5719.16 of the Revised Code of the State of Ohioi and, WHEREAs~ this resolution constitutesan emergency measure providing for the Usual daily operation of a municipal department, now~ thsrefore: BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF L~REWOOD$ STATE OF OHIO~. Section 1. Tha~ the Director of Fifiance of the City of Lakewood be and he is hereby authorized and directed to accept the sum of $4~.50 tendered in payment of the principal and interest for the years 1969, 1970 and 1971, of special assessment charged against the property described as permaner~t parcel number 313-26-45 on the Auditor's records of Cuyahoga County, Ohio, and levied under Ordinance No. 20-67, adopted by the Council of the City of Lakewood on April 17, 1967. Section 2. That said special assessment as hereinbefore set forth having been accepted as set forth in Section 1 hereof, and the Auditor of Cuyahoga County be and he is hereby autho~zed to cancel said special assessment for the years 1969, 1970 and 1971, levied under Ordinance No. 20-67, adopted by the Council of the City of Lakewood on April 17, 1967, on permanent parcel number 313-26-45 on the County Auditor's records and further de- scribed as being in the Mars Wagar Subdivision, Volume 28, page 14, each annual assessment being in the amount of $15.50. Section 3. That the Clerk of Counoil be and she is hereby authorized and directed to deliver a certified copy of this resolution to the Auditor of Cuyahoga County for the purpose of having said special assessment canceled. Section 4. That this resolution is hereby declared to be an emergency measure for the reasons stated in the preamble hereof and provided it receives the affirmative vote of tWo-thirds of all members elected to Council, it shall take effect and be in force immediately upon its adoption and approval by the Mayor.
