RESOLUTION NO. 4667 BY: Messrs. Nuffma~, Kelley, Usher, <br /> Wendling, Gaydos, Graber <br /> <br />AN EMERGENCY RESOLUTION authorizing and directing the Finance Director of <br />the City of LakeWood to accept the principal and interest on special <br />assessment levied on permanent parcel number 313-26-45, and known for <br />street numbering purposes as 1499-1501 Lakeland Avenue, on the Cuyahoga <br />County Auditor's ~ecords and authorizing the County Auditor to cancel <br />said special assessment for the years 1969, 1970 and 1971. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City has special assessment charged against the property <br />hereinafter described and levied under Ordinance No. 20-67, adopted by <br />the ~ouncil of the City of Lakewood on April 17, 1967, and, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the owner of the said property has tendered payment of the <br />principal portion and interest on the special assessment levied on said <br />parcel pursuant to the provision~ of Section 5719.16 of the Revised Code <br />of the State of Ohioi and, <br /> <br />WHEREAs~ this resolution constitutesan emergency measure providing for <br />the Usual daily operation of a municipal department, now~ thsrefore: <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF L~REWOOD$ STATE OF OHIO~. <br /> <br />Section 1. Tha~ the Director of Fifiance of the City of Lakewood be and <br />he is hereby authorized and directed to accept the sum of $4~.50 tendered <br />in payment of the principal and interest for the years 1969, 1970 and <br />1971, of special assessment charged against the property described as <br />permaner~t parcel number 313-26-45 on the Auditor's records of Cuyahoga <br />County, Ohio, and levied under Ordinance No. 20-67, adopted by the <br />Council of the City of Lakewood on April 17, 1967. <br /> <br />Section 2. That said special assessment as hereinbefore set forth having <br />been accepted as set forth in Section 1 hereof, and the Auditor of Cuyahoga <br />County be and he is hereby autho~zed to cancel said special assessment <br />for the years 1969, 1970 and 1971, levied under Ordinance No. 20-67, adopted <br />by the Council of the City of Lakewood on April 17, 1967, on permanent <br />parcel number 313-26-45 on the County Auditor's records and further de- <br />scribed as being in the Mars Wagar Subdivision, Volume 28, page 14, each <br />annual assessment being in the amount of $15.50. <br /> <br />Section 3. That the Clerk of Counoil be and she is hereby authorized and <br />directed to deliver a certified copy of this resolution to the Auditor <br />of Cuyahoga County for the purpose of having said special assessment <br />canceled. <br /> <br />Section 4.
