RESOLUTION NO~ 4668 BY: Messrs. Kelley, Usher, Wending, <br /> Gaydos, Graber, Huffman <br /> <br />AN EP~RGENCY RESOLUTION authorizing and directing the Finance Director of <br />the City~ of Lakewood to accept the principal and interest on special <br />assessment levied on permanent parcel number 315-2-30, and known for <br />street numbering purposes as 1567 Wyandotte Avenue, on the Cuyahoga <br />County Auditor's records and authorizing the County Auditor to cancel <br />said special assessment for the year 1969. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City has special assessment charged against the property <br />hereinafter described and levied under Ordinance No. 64-64, adopted by <br />the Council of the City of Lakewood OhM ay 7, 1964, and, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the owner of the said property has tendered payment of the prin- <br />cipal portion and interest on,the special assessment levied on said parcel <br />pursuant to the provisions of Section 5719.16 of the Revised Code of the <br />State of Ohio, and, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, this resolution constitutes an emergency measure providing for <br />the usual daily operation of a municipal department, now, therefore, <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ka. REWOOD, STATE OF OHIO: <br /> <br />Section 1. That the Director of Finance of the City of Lakewood be and <br />he is hereby authorized and directed to accept the sum of $17.38 tendered <br />in payment of the principal and interest for the year ]969, of special <br />assessment charged against the property described as permanent parcel <br />number 315-2-30 on the Auditor's records of Cuyahoga County, Ohio, and <br />levied under Ordinance 64-64, adopted by the Council of the City of <br />Lakewood on May 7, 1964. <br /> <br />Section 2. That said special assessment as hereinbefore set forth having <br />been accepted as set forth in Section 1 hereof, and the Auditor of Cuyahoga <br />County be and he is hereby authorized to cancel said special assessment <br />for the year 1969, levied under Ordinance No. 64-64, adopted by the Council <br />of the City of Lakewood on May 7, 1964, on permanent parcel number 315-2-30 <br />on the County Auditor's records and further described as being in the <br />Stein Subdivision, Volume 30, page 16, each annual assessment being in <br />the amount of $17.38. <br /> <br />Section 3. That the Clerk of Council be and she is hereby authorized and <br />directed to deliver a certified copy of this resolution to the Auditor <br />of Cuyahoga County for the purpose of having said special assessment canceled. <br /> <br />Section 4. That this resolution is hereby declared to be an emergency <br />measure for the reasons stated in the preamble hereof and provided it re- <br />ceives the affirmative vote of two-thirds of all members elected to <br />Council, it shall take effect and be in force immediately upon its adopt- <br />tion and approval by the Mayor. <br /> <br />Adopted; Octobg. r 7, 1968 <br /> <br />Robert E.
