RESOLUTION NO. 4675 BY: Messrs. Usher, Ward, Wendling, Gaydos, Graber, Nuffman, Kelley AN EMERGENCY RESOLUTION authorizing a~ directing the Finance Director of the City of Lakewood to accept the principal and interest on special assessment levied on permanent parcel number 313-27-60 and known for street numbering purposes as 1611 Rosewood Avenue on the Cuyahoga County Auditor's records and authorizing the County Auditor to cancel said special assessment for the years 1969, 1970 and 1971. WHEREAS, The City has special assessment charged against the property hereinafter described and levied under Ordinance No. 41-66, adopted by the Council of the City of Lakewood on April 18, 1966, and, WHEREAS, The owner of the said property has tendered payment of the principal portion and interest on the special assessment levied on said parcel pursuant to the provisions of Section 5719.16 of the Revised Code of the State ®f Ohio, andy WHEREAS, This resolution constitutes an emergency measure providing for the usual daily operation of a municipal department, now, therefore, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD, STATE OF OMIO: Section 1. That the Director of Finance of the City of Lakewood be and he is hereby authorized and directed to accept the sum of $42.24 tendered in payment of the principal and interest for the years 1969, 1970 and 1971, of special assessment charged against the property described as permanent parcel number 313-27-60 in the Auditor's records of Cuyahoga County, Ohio, and levied under Ordinance No. 41-66 adopted by the Council of the City of Lakewood on April 18, 1966. Section 2. That said special assessment as hereinbefore set forth having been accepted as set forth in Section 1 hereof~ and the Auditor of Cuyahoga County be and he is hereby authorized to cancel said special assessment for the years 1969, 1970 and 1971 levied under Ordinance No. 41-66, adopted by The Council of the City of Lakewood, on April 18, 1966, on permanent parcel number 313-27-60 on the County Auditor's records and further das~ribed as being in the Pumphrey Realty Company's Subdivision, Volume 30, page 5, each annual assessment being in the amount of $14.08. Section 3. That the Clerk of Council be and she is hereby authorized and directed to deliver a certified copy of this resolution to the Auditor of Cuyahoga County for the purpose of having said special assessment canceled, Section 4. That this resolution is hereby declarad to be an emergency measure for the reasons stated in the preamble hereof and provided it receives the affirmative vote of two-thirds of all members elected to Couucil~ it shall take effect and be in force immediately upon its adoption and approval by the Mayor.
