RESOLUTION NO. 4676 BY: Messrs. Gaydos, Graber, Huffman, Kelley, Usher, Wendling AN EMERGENCY RESOLUTION declaring the intent of the Council of the City of Lakewood to vacate that portion of Thoreau Avenue from Clifton Boulevard to a point south, approximately 730 feet, as indicated on Map P 19 A by the red shaded portion thereof. WHEREAS, This resolution constitutes an emergency measure pro- viding for the immediate preservation of the public health, safety and welfare and for the usual daily operation of a municipal department; now, ~herefore~ BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LAREWOOD, STATE OF OHIO: Section 1. That the Council of the City of Lakewood hereby declares its intent to vacate that portion of Thoreau Avenue from Clifton Boulevard to a point south approximately 730 feet, as indicated on Map P 19 A of the Division of Engineering, City of Lakewood, Ohio. Section 2. That the Clerk of Council shall cause notice of such declaration to be served in the manner that the service of suramons is required to be made, upon all persons whose property abuts upon the part of Thoreau Avenue affected by the proposed vaca- tion, and by publication once in one newspaper of general cir- culation in the City of Lakewood as to all persons who cannot be personally served. Said notice shall state the time and place when objections can be heard before the Board of Revision of Assessments. Section 3. That this resolution is hereby declared to be an emergency measure for the reasons stated in the preamble hereof and provided it receives the affirmative vote of two-thirds of all members elected to CounciL, it shall take effect and be in force immediately upon its adoption and approval by the Mayor.
