RESOLUTION NO. 4678 <br /> <br />BY: Messrs. Huffman, Kelley, Usher, <br />Wend~ing~ Gaydos, Graber <br /> <br /> AN EMERGENCY RESOLUTION declaring the intent of <br />the Council of the City of Lakewood to vacate a portion Qf <br />Cannon Alley in the City of Lakewood. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, This resolution constitutes an emergency <br />measure providing for the immediate preservation of the public <br />health, safety and welfare and for the usual daily operation of <br />a municipal department; now, therefore, <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />LAKEWOOD, STATE OF OHIO: <br /> <br /> Section 1. That it hereby declares its intent <br />to vacate a portion of Cannon Alley in the City of Lakewood, <br />said portion being further described as follows: <br /> <br />Situated in the City of Lakewood, County of Cuyahoga, <br />State of Ohio, and known as being part of Original <br />Rockport Township Section No. 23 and bounded and <br />described as follows: <br /> <br />Beginning at the southeasterly corner of Sublot Number <br />8 and the westerly line of Cannon Alley 20 feet wide <br />in the Northwood Park Subdivision as shown by the re- <br />corded plat in Volume 29 of Maps, Page 27 of Cuyahoga <br />County Records; <br /> <br />Thence southerly along the westerly line of Cannon Alley <br />a distance of 14.33 feet to the southerly line of said <br />subdivision~ <br /> <br />Thence westerly along the said southerly line a distance <br />of 40 feet to the southwesterly corner of Cannon Alley, <br />which point is 170.00 feet east of the center line of <br />West Clifton Boulevard 100 feet wide; <br /> <br />Thence northerly along the westerly line of Cannon Alley <br />a distance of 14.30 feet to the northwesterly corner of <br />Cannon.~ltey; <br /> <br />Thence easterly along the northerly line of Cannon Alley <br />a distance of<40 feet to the place of beginning, be the <br />same more or, less, but subject to ali legal highways. <br /> <br /> Section 2. That the Clerk of Council Shall cause <br />notice of such declaration to be served~in the manner that the <br />service of summons is required to be made, upon all persons whose <br />property abuts upon the part of Cannon Alley affected by the <br />proposed vacation~ and by publication once in a newspaper of <br />general circulation in the City of Lakewood as to all persons <br />who cannot be personally served. Said notice shall state the <br />time and place,when objections can be heard before the Board of <br />Revision of Assessments. <br /> <br />Section 3. That this resolution is hereby declared <br /> <br /> <br />
