RESOLUTION NO. 4701 <br /> <br />BY: Messrs. Gaydos, Graber, Huffman, <br /> Kelley, Usher, Ward, Wendling <br /> <br /> AN EMERGENCY RESOLUTION authorizing and directing <br />the Director of Public Works to enter into a requirement contract <br />for the purchase of the necessary items of water meters and water <br />meter parts for a period of one (1) year commencing April 1, 1969. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, This resolution constitutes an emergency <br />measure providing for the usual daily operation of a municipal <br />department; now, therefore, <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />LAKEWOOD, STATE OF OHIO: <br /> <br /> Section 1. That the Director of Public Works be <br />and he is hereby authorized and directed to enter into a require- <br />ment contract for the purchase of the necessary items of water <br />meters and water meter parts for a period of one (1) year <br />commencing April 1, 1969, with the lowest and best bidder after <br />advertisement according to law. <br /> <br /> Section 2o That this resolution is hereby declared <br />to be an emergency measure for the reasons stated in the preamble <br />hereof and provided it receives the affirmative vote of two-thirds <br />of all members elected to Council, it shall take effect and be in <br />force immediately upon its adoption and approval by the Mayor. <br /> <br />Approved: ~ ~-c~d ~.-~,/~ ~ <br /> <br />President~ / <br /> <br /> <br />
