RESOLUTION NO. <br /> <br />4721 <br /> <br />BY: Messrs. Huffman, Kelley, Usher, <br /> Ward, Wendling, Gaydos, Graber <br /> <br /> AN EMERGENCY RESOLUTION authorizing and directing <br />the Director of Law to apply, in the name of the City, to a <br />court of competent jurisdiction, for an order of in3unction and <br />such other relief as may be deemed appropriate and declaring an <br />emergency. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, There is currently in existence an unauth- <br />orized work stoppage in the City of Lakewood, and, <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, It may become essential that the City of <br />Lakewood seek an order of injunction and such other relief as <br />may be appropriate relative to same, and, <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, This resolution constitutes an emergency <br />measure providing for the usual daily operation of municipal <br />departments; now, therefore, <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD, <br />STATE OF OHIO: <br /> <br /> Section 1. That the Director of Law is hereby <br />authorized and directed to apply, in the name of the City, to a <br />court of competent jurisdiction for an order of injunction and <br />such other and further relief as may be deemed appropriate to <br />bring to an end the current, unauthorized work stoppage by <br />employees of the City of Lakewood, at such time as he is so directed <br />by the Mayor. <br /> <br /> Section 2. That this ordinance is hereby declared to <br />be an emergency measure for the reasons stated in the preamble <br />hereof and provided it receives the affirmative vote of two-thirds <br />of all members elected to Council, it shall take effect and be in <br />force i~mmed~a, tely upon its adoption and approval by the Mayor. <br /> <br /> Clerk <br /> <br /> <br />
