Gaydos, Craber, l[u£f!~lan, Kelley, Usller, War~l Wend]~ng AN EMERGENCY RESOLUTION aut'horizing and directing the Finance Director of the City of Lakewood to accept the principal and interest on special assessment levied On permanent parcel number 315-11-102, and known for street nunLbering purposes as 1534-36 Ridgewood, on the Cuyahoga County Auditor's records and authorizing the County Auditor to cancel said special assessment for the years 1969~ 1970, and 1971. WHEREAS~ The City has special assessment charged against the property hereinafter described and levied under Ordinance NOo 38-66, adopted by the Council of the City of Lakewood on April 18, 1966, and WHEREAS, The owner of the said property has tendered payment of the principal portion and interest on the special assessment levied on said parcel pursuant to the provisions of Section 5719.16 of the Revised Code of the State of Ohio and, WHEREAS~ This resolution~constitutes an emergency measure providing for the usual daily operation of a municipal department, now therefore, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LAK~.~OOD, STATE OF OHIO: Section 1o That the Director of Finance of the City of Lakewood be and he is hereby authorized and directed to accept the sum of $59.76 tendered in payment of the principal and interest for the years 1969~ 1970~ and 1971 of special assessment charged against the property de- scribed as permanent parcel number 315-11-102 on the Auditor's records of Cuyahoga County, Ohio~ and levied under Ordinance No° 38-66, adopt- ed by the Council of the City of Lakewood on April 18, 1966o Section 2. That said special assessment as hereinbefore set forth having been accepted as set forth in Section 1 hereof, and the Auditor of Cuyahoga County be and he is hereby authorized to cancel said special assessment for the years 1969~ 1970, and 1971, levied under Ordinance No. 38-66, adopted by the Council of the City of Lakewood on April 18, 1966, on permanent parcel number 315-11-102 on the County Auditor's records and further described as being in the Citizen's Real Estate Company~ Sublot %2, Volume 37~ Page 14~ each annual assessment being in the amount of $19~92. Section 3. That the Clerk of Council be and she is hereby authorized and directed to deliver a certified copy of this resolution to the Auditor of Cuyahoga County for the purpose of having said special assessment canceled. Section 4. That this resolution is hereby declared to be an emergency measure for the reasons stated in the preamble hereof and provided it receives the affirmative vote of two-thirds of all members elected to Council, it shall take effect and be in force immediately upon its adoption and approval by the Mayor.
