(:r~d:t.r, Ikt££f,~mA, Kt~l. lL'y, Us.,er, <br /> W;~rd, W(~l~(ll <br /> <br /> AN IsMbRGLNCY RESOLUTION authorizing the Mayor of <br />the C;ty of Lal~ewood to enter into a contract fo~ the purchase <br />of Police Professxonal Liabi. lity Insurance. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, %his resolution constitutes an emergency <br />measure in that it provides for the immediate preservation for <br />the public safety and welfare and for the usual daily operation <br />of a municipal department; now~ therefore, <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY TIIE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD, <br />STATE OF OHIO: <br /> <br /> Section 1. That the Mayor of the City of Lakewood be, <br />and he is hereby aUthorized and directed to enter into a contract <br />for the. purchase of Police Professional Liability Insurance ~or <br />the protection of the City of Lakewood and its law enforcement <br />officers with the lowest and best bidder after advertisement <br />according to law the limits o$~li~bi~$~ thereof to be $25,000 <br />~ach person, $50,000 each zncz~enn, ~±oo,000 aggregate. <br /> <br /> Section 2. That this resolution is hereby declared <br />to be an emergency measure for ~he reasons stated in the pre- <br />amble hereof and, provided it receives the affirmative vote of <br />two-thirds of all members elected to Council, it shall take <br />effect and be in force immediately upon its adoption and approval <br />by the Mayor. <br /> <br />Adopted: <br /> <br />Approved: <br /> <br />president <br /> <br />Mayor <br /> <br /> <br />
