RESOLUTION MO. 4765 <br /> <br />BY: Messrs. Kelley, Usher, Ward, <br /> Wendling, Graber, Huffman <br /> <br /> AN EMERGENCY RESOLUTION approving a certain sub- <br />division plat known as Gold Coast Lane Subdivision pursuant <br />to ISection 1701.07 of the Codified Ordinances of the City of <br />La~ewood. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Carlyle Company has presented to this <br />Council a plat of subdivision of certain property owned by <br />saiid company known as the Gold Coast Lane Subdivision which <br />pla!t has been prepared by Frank A. Thomas and Associates, Inc. <br />Co~sulting Engineers and dated November 6, 1969, and, <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, said subdivision plat has been approved by <br />the City Engineer and the Planning Co,mission of the Czty of <br />La~ewood, and, <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, said subdivision plat contains provision <br />~or! dedication of a new street, and, <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, this resolution constitutes an emergency <br />me~sure in that it provides for the immediate preservation of <br />the public health, safety and welfare and for the usual daily <br />operation of a municipal department; now, therefore, <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD, <br />STATE OF OHIO: <br /> <br /> Section 1. The plat of the Gold Coast Lane Sub- <br />division and the proposed street shown thereon is hereby approved <br />fo~ record purposes only, and the President of Council and Clerk <br />of,Council are hereby authorized and instructed to endorse upon <br />said plat the approval of this Council. <br /> <br /> Section 2.~ The offering of said plat for approval <br />does not constitute a dedication of the street shown thereon, <br />and the approval of said plat for recording purposes does not <br />constitute an acceptance of the proposed street shown thereon <br />as a public street. <br /> <br /> Section 3. That this resolution is hereby declared <br />to 'be an emergency measure for the reasons stated in the pre- <br />amble hereof and, provided it receives the affirmative vote of <br />two-thirds of all members elected to Council, it shall take <br />effect and be in force immediately upon its adoption and approval <br />by the Mayor. <br /> <br />Adopted: <br /> <br />Approved: <br /> <br />Clerk <br /> <br />Mayor <br /> <br /> <br />
