RESOLUTION NO. 4766 <br /> <br />BY: Messrs. Usher, Ward, Wendling, <br /> Graber, Huffman, Kelley <br /> <br /> AN EMERCENCY RESOLUTION authorizing and directing the Director <br />of Public Works to enter into a requirement contract for the purchase <br />of the necessary items of water meters and water meter parts for a period <br />of one (1) year, commencing April 1, 1970. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, This resolution constitutes an emergency measure providing <br />for the usual daily operation of a municipal department; now, therefore, <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD, STATE OF <br />OHIO: <br /> <br /> Section 1. That the Director of Public Works be and he is hereby <br />authorized and directed to enter into a requirement contract for the <br />purchase of the necessary items of water meters and water meter parts for <br />a period of one (1) year commencing April 1, 1970, with the lowest and <br />best bidder after advertisement according to law. <br /> <br /> Section 2. That this resolution is hereby declared to be an <br />emergency measure for the reasons stated in the preamble hereof and pro- <br />vided it receives the affirmative vote of two-thirds of all members <br />elected to Council, it shall take effect and be in force immediately upon <br />its adoption and approval by the Mayor. <br /> <br />Approved: .~, <br /> <br />President <br /> <br /> Clerk f <br /> <br />Mayor <br /> <br /> <br />
