RESOLUTION NO. 4779 <br /> <br />By:Messrs, Usher, Ward, Wendling, Gaydos, <br /> Graber, Huffman, Kelley <br /> <br /> AN EMERGENCY RESOLUTION authorizing the Director of Public <br />Works to enter into a contract for the purchase of the necessary re- <br />quirements of gasoline for several departments of the City, for a <br />period of one year commencing November 1, 1970 and ending October 31, <br />1971. <br /> <br /> W}~REAS, it is necessary to furnish the several departments <br />of the City with gasoline for the operation of vehicles and motorized <br />equipment, and, <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, this resolution constitutes an emergency measure <br />providing for the immediat, e preservation of the public property and <br />for the usual daily operation of a municipal department; now, therefore, <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD, STATE <br />OF OHIO: <br /> <br /> Section 1~ That the Director of Public Works be and he is <br />hereby authorized and directed to enter into a contract for the purchase <br />of the necessary requirements of gasoline for a period of one year, <br />beginning November 1, 1970, for the several departments of the City, <br />with the lowest and best bidder after advertisement according to law. <br /> <br /> Section 2. That this resolution is hereby declared to be an <br />emergency measure for the reasons stated in the preamble hereof and <br />provided it receives the affirmative vote of two-thirds of all members <br />elected to Council, it shall take effect and be in force immediately <br />upon its adoption and approval by the Mayor. <br /> <br />Adopted: <br /> <br />Approved: ~~z~ /~',z/~ ~fj <br /> <br />Presi~ <br /> Clerkf <br /> <br />Mayor <br /> <br /> <br />
