RESOLUTION NO. 4805 <br /> <br />By:~ Messrs. Graber, Huffman, Kelley, <br /> Usher, Ward, Wendling, Gaydos <br /> <br /> AN EMERGENCY RESOLUTION authorizing the Director of Public <br />Works to enter into a contract.for the purchase of a street sweeper for <br />the Department of Streets. ~ <br /> <br /> WtlEREAS, this resolution constitutes an emergency measure zn <br />that it provides for the immediate preservation of the public safety and <br />welfare and for the usual daily operation of municipal departments; now, <br />therefore, <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY T}~ COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LAK~OOD. STATE <br /> <br />OF OHIO: <br /> <br /> Section 1. That the Director of Public Works be and he is hereby <br />authorized and directed to enter into a contract or contracts for the purchase <br />of a street sweeper and for the sale or trade-in or the present equipment <br />for such new vehicle with the lowest and best bidder after advertisement <br />according to law. <br /> <br /> Section 2. That this Resolution is declared to be an emergency <br />measure for the reasons stated in the preamble hereof and provided it receives <br />the affirmative vote of two-thirds of all members elected to Council, it shall <br />take effect and be in force immediately upon its adoption and approval by the <br />Mayor. <br /> <br />Adopted: <br /> <br />President <br /> <br />Clerk <br /> <br />Approved: <br /> <br />Mayor <br /> <br /> <br />
