RESOLUTION NO. 4813 <br /> <br />BY: Messrs. Usher, Ward, Wendling, <br /> G~ydos, Graber, Huffmsn, Kelley <br /> <br /> AN EMERGENCY RESOLUTION authorizing the Director of Public Works <br />to enter into a contract or ~ontracts for the purchase of various items <br />of motor vehicle equipment for the Department of Public Works. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, this resolution constitutes an emergency measure in that <br />it provides for the immediate preservation of the public safety and wel- <br />fare and for the usual daily operation of municipal departments; now, <br />therefore, <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY Tim COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD, STATE OF <br />OHIO: <br /> <br /> Section 1. That the Director of Public Works be and he is hereby <br />authorized and directed to enter into a contract or contracts for the <br />purchase of the following motor vehicle~equipment: <br /> <br />One (1) Packer truck for the Refuse Department <br />Two (2) Dump trucks for the Street Department <br />One (1) Pick up truck for the Park Department <br />One (1) Jeep for the Park Department <br />One (1) Dump truck for the Water Department <br />one (t) Sedan for the Water Department <br /> <br />~nd for the sale or trade-in of present equipment for such new vehicles, <br />with the lowest and best bidders after advertisement according to law. <br /> <br /> Section 2. That this resolution is declared to be an emergency <br />measure for the reasons stated in the preamble hereof and provided it <br />receives the affirmative vote of two-thirds of all members elected to <br />Council, it shall take effect and be in force immediately upon its adoption <br />and approval by the Mayor. <br /> <br />Adopted: <br /> <br /> President / <br />~~erk~ <br /> <br />Acting Mayor <br /> <br /> <br />
