RESOLUTION NO. 4816 <br /> <br />BY: Messrs. Usher, Ward, Gaydos, <br /> Graber, Huffman, <br /> <br /> AN EMERGENCY RESOLUTION authorizing the Mayor of the <br />City of Lakewood to enner into a contract of renewal for the pur- <br />chase of Police Professional Liability Insurance. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, this resolution constitutes an emergency <br />measure in that it provides for the immediate preservation for the <br />public safety and welfare and for the usual daily operation of a <br />municipal department; now, therefore, <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD, <br />STATE OF OHIO: <br /> <br /> Section 1. That the Mayor of the City of Lakewood be <br />and he is hereby authorized and directed to enter ~nto a contract <br />of. renewal with the American Home Assurance Company for the pur- <br />chase of Police Professional Llabil±ty Insurance for the protect- <br />ion of the City of Lakewood and its law enforcement officers, the <br />limits of liability thereof to be $25,000.00 each person, $50,000.00 <br />each incident, and $150,000.00 aggrega=e. <br /> <br /> Section 2. That this resolution is hereby declared to <br />be an emergency measure for the reasons stated in the preamble hereof, <br />and provided in receives the affirmatIve vote of two-thirds of all <br />members elected ~o Council, it shall take effect and be in force <br />in~nediately upon its adoption and approval by,he Mayor. <br /> <br /> Vice ~/~e~ident <br /> <br /> Clork F <br /> <br />ApproVed: <br /> <br />Mayor <br /> <br /> <br />
