RESOLUTION NO. 4838 BY: Messrs. Gaydos, Graber, Huffman, Usher, Ward AN EMERGENCY RESOLUTION authorizing and directing the Finance Director of the City of Lakewood to accept the principal and inter, est on special assessment levied on permsnent parcel number 313-25-15, and known for street numbering purposes as 1419 Orchard Grove Avenue, on the Cuyahoga County Auditor's records and authorizing the County Auditor to cancel said special assessment for the year 1971. WHEREAS, The City of Lakewood has special assessment charged against the property hereinafter described and levied under Ordinance No. 36-66, adopted by the Council of the City on April 18, 1966, and, WHEREAS, The owner of the said property has tendered payment of the principal portion and interest on the special assessment levied on said parcel pursuant to the provisions of Section 5716.16 of the Revised Code of the State of Ohio, and, WHEREAS, This resolution constitutes mn emergency measure providing for the usual daily operation of a municipal~department; now, therefore: BE IT:~'RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD, STATE OF OHIO: Section Ii That the Director of Einance of the City of Lakewood be and he is .hereby authorized and directed to accept the sum of $14.62 tendered in payment of the principal and interest~for the year 1971, of special assessment charged against the property described as permanent parcel number 313-25-15 on the Auditor's records of Cuyahoga County, Ohio, and levied under Ordinance No. 36-66, adopted by the Council of the City of Lakewood on April 18, 1966. Se~on 2. That said special assessment as hereinbefore set forth having been ~a~cepted as set forth in Section 1 hereof, and the Auditor of Cuyahogs County be and he is hereby authorized to cmncel said special assessment for the year 1971, levied under Ordinance No. 36-66, adopted by the Council of the City of Lakewood on April 18, 1966 on. permanent parcel number 313-25~15 on the County Auditor's records and further described as being in the Fumphrey Realty Company's Orchard Grove Subdivision, Volume 30, Page 5, each annual sssessment being in the amount of $14.62. .Section 3. That the Clerk of Council be and she is hereby authorized and directed to deliver a certified copy of this resolution to the Auditor of Cuyahoga County for the purpose of having said special assessment canceled. Section 4. That this resolution is hereby declared to be mn emergency measure for the reasons stated in the preamble hereof and provided it receives the affirm- ative vote of two-thirds of all members elected to Council, it shall take effect and be in force immediately upon its adoption and approval by the Mayor.
