RESOLUTION NO.: 4847 <br /> <br />BY: Messrso Graber, Huffman, Usher, Ward, <br /> Wendling, Gaydos <br /> <br /> · AN EMERGENCY RESOLUTION authorizing and directing the Director <br />of Public Works to enter into a contract or contracts for the purchase <br />of the necessary requirements of Valves and Pipe Fittings for the year <br />cormmencing January 1, 1972, for use in the Division of Water. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, this resolution constitutes an emergency measure <br />providing for the inm~ediate preservation of the public property and <br />welfare and for the usual daily operation of a municipal department; <br />now, therefore~ <br /> <br />OF OHIO: <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD~ STATE <br /> <br /> Section 1. That the Director of Publie Works be and he is <br />hereby authorized and directed to enter into a contract or contracts for <br />the purchase of the necessary requirements of valves and pipe fittings <br />for the year 1971 for use in the Division of Water, with the lowest and <br />best bidder or bidders, after advertisement according to law. <br /> <br /> Section 2. That this resolution is hereby declared to be an <br />emergency measure for the reasons stated in the preamble hereof and pro- <br />vided it receives the affirmative vote of two-thirds of all members <br />elected to Council, it shall take effect and be in force immediately <br />upon its adoption and approval by the Mayor. <br /> <br />Adopted: <br /> <br />President <br /> <br /> Clerk ~z <br /> <br />Approved: <br /> <br />Mayor <br /> <br /> <br />
