RESOLUTION NO. 4867 <br /> <br />BY: Messrs. Magnotto, McBride, Usher, <br /> Wendling, Graber, Brockman, Kelley <br /> <br /> AN EMERGENCY RESOLUTION authorizing and directing the <br />Director of Public Works to enter into a requirement contract for <br />the purchase of the necessary items of water meters and water meter <br />parts for a period of one year commencing April 1, 1972. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, this Resolution constitutes an emergency measure <br />providing for the usual daily operation of a municipal department; <br />now therefore, <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD, <br />STATE OF OHIO: <br /> <br /> Section 1. That the Director of Public Works be, and he <br />is hereby authorized and directed to enter into a requirement contract <br />for the purchase of the necessary items of water meters and water <br />meter parts for a period of one (1) year, commencing April 1, 1972, <br />with the lowest and best bidder after advertisement according to law. <br /> <br /> Section 2. That this resolution is hereby declared to be <br />an emergency measure for the reasons stated in the preamble hereof <br />and provided it receives the affirmative vote of two-thirds of all <br />members elected to Council, it shall take effect and be in force im- <br />mediately upon its adoption and approval by the Mayor. <br /> <br />Clerk <br /> <br /> <br />
