RESOLUTION NO.: <br /> <br />4869 <br /> <br />BY: Messrs. Graber, Kelley, Magnotto, <br /> McBride, Usher, Wendling, Brockman <br /> <br /> AN EMERGENCY RESOLUTION authorizing and directing the <br />Director of Public Works to enter into a requirement contract or <br />contracts for the purchase of materials for use in street repair <br />and other City-owned properties for a period of one year cormmenc- <br />lng April 1, 1972. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, this resolution constitutes an emergency measure <br />providing for the usual daily operation of a municipal department, <br />now, therefore, <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD, <br />STATE ~F OHIO: <br /> <br /> Section 1. ~hat the Director of Public Works be and he <br />is hereby authorized and directed to enter into a requirement con- <br />tracer or contracts for the purchase of materials for use in street <br />repair and other City-owned properties for a period of one (1) year <br />comanencing April 1, 1972, in accordance with the list of such <br />materials on file in the office of the Director of Public Works, <br />with the lowest and best bidder or bidders after'advertisement <br />according to law. <br /> <br /> Section 2. That this resolution is hereby declared to <br />be an emergency measure for the reasons stated in the preamble <br />hereof and provided it receives the affirmative vote of two-thirds <br />of all members elected to Council, it shall take effect and be in <br />force immediately upon its adoption and approval by the Mayor. <br /> <br />Approved,~'~c~ ~<~/~ <br /> <br />Clerk <br /> <br />Hayor <br /> <br /> <br />
