RESOLUTION NO, 4872 BY: Messrs. Kelley, Magnotto, McBride, Usher, <br /> Graber, Brockman <br /> <br /> AN EMERGENCY RESOLUTION authorizing the Director of Public Works <br />to enter into a contract or contracts for the purchase of various items <br />of motor vehicle equipment for the Department of Public Works. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, this Resolutfon constitutes an emergency measure in that <br />it provides for the irmmediate preservation of the public safety and welfare <br />and for the usual daily operation of municipal departments; now, therefore, <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD, STATE OF <br />OHIO: <br /> <br /> Section 1. That the Director of Public Works be and he is hereby <br />authorized and directed to enter into a contract or contracts for the <br />purchase of the following motor vehicle equipment: <br /> <br /> (2) <br />One (1) <br />One (1) <br />One (1) <br /> (2) <br />One (1) <br />One (1) <br />One (1) <br />One. (1) <br />one (1) <br />One (1) <br />One (1) <br />One (1) <br />One (1) <br /> <br />Packer trucks for the Refuse Department <br />Sedan for the Refuse Department <br />Dump truck for the Street Department <br />Pick up truck for the Street Department <br />Sewer machines for the Street Department <br />Sedan for the Street Department <br />Loader tractor for the Park Department <br />Dump truck for the Park Department <br />Riding mower for the Park Department <br />Sedan for the Park Department <br />Truck van for the Engineering Department <br />Utility truck for the Water Department <br />Truck van for the Water Department <br />Pick up truck for the Health Department <br /> <br />and for the sale or trade-in of present equipment for such new vehicles, <br />with the lowest and best bidders after advertisement according to law. <br /> <br /> Section 2. That this resolution is declared to be an emergency <br />measure for the reasons stated in the preamble hereof and provided it <br />receives the affirmative vote of two-thirds of all members elected to <br />Council, it shall take effect and be in force £nm~ediately upon its adoption <br />and approval by the Mayor. ~ <br /> <br />Clerk <br /> <br />Mayor <br /> <br /> <br />
