RESOLUTION NO. 4891 BY: <br /> <br />Messrs. Brockman, Graber, Kelley, <br />Magnotto, McBride, Usher, Wendling <br /> <br />AN Eb~RGENCY RESOLUTION authorizing and directing the Finance Director of the City <br />of Lakewood to accept the principal and interest on special assessment levied on <br />permanent parcel number 311-21-75, and known for street numbering purposes as <br />17437 Woodford Avenue, on the Cuyahoga County Auditor's records and authorizing the <br />County Auditor to cancel said special assessment for the year 1972. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of Lakewood has special assessment charged against the property <br />hereinafter described and levied under Ordinance No. 24-68, adopted by the Council <br />of the City of Lakewood on April 1, 1968, and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the owner of the said property has tendered payment of the principal <br />portion and interest on the special assessment levied on said parcel pursuant to <br />the provisions of Section 5719.16 of the Revised Code of the State of Ohio, and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, this resolution constitutes an emergency measure providing for the usual <br />daily operation of a municipal department; now, therefore: <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD, STANCE OF OHIO: <br /> <br />Section 1. That the Director of Finance of the City of Lakewood be and he is hereby <br />authorized and directed to accept the sum of $18.70 tendered in payment of the <br />principal and interest for the year 1972, of special assessment charged against the <br />property described as permanent parcel number 311-21-75 on the Auditor's records of <br />Cuyahoga County, Ohio, and levied under Ordinance No% 24-68 adopted by the Council <br />of the City of Lakewood on April 1, 1968. <br /> <br />Section 2. That said special assessment as hereinbefore set forth having been <br />accepted as set forth in Section 1 hereof, and the Auditor of Cuyahoga County be <br />and he is hereby authorized to cancel said special assessment for the year 1972, <br />levied under Ordinance No. 24-68, adopted by the Council of the City of Lakewood <br />on April 1, 1968, on permanent parcel number 311-21-75 on the County Auditor's <br />records and further described as being in the Citizen's R.E. Company Subdivision, <br />No. 3, Volume 37, Page 24, each annual assessment being in the amount of $18.70. <br /> <br />Section 3. That the Clerk of Council be and she is hereby authorized and directed <br />to deliver a certified copy of this resolution to the Auditor of Cuyahoga County <br />for the purpose of having said special assessment canceled. <br /> <br />Section 4. That this resolution is hereby declared to be an emergency measure for <br />the reasons, stated in the preamble hereof and provided it receives the affirmative <br />vote of two-thirds of all members elected to Council, it shall take effect and be <br />in force immediately upon its adoption and approval by the Mayor. <br /> <br />Adopted: <br /> <br />Approved: <br /> <br />Mayo~ <br /> <br /> <br />
