RESOLUTION NO. 4899 <br /> <br />BY: Messrs. McBride, Usher, Wendling, <br /> Graber, Brockman, Magnotto <br /> <br /> AN EMERGENCY RESOLUTION authorizing the Director of Public Works to <br />enter into a contract for the purchase of the necessary requirements of <br />gasoline for several departments of the City, for m period of one year com- <br />mencing November 1, 1972 and ending October 31, 1973. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, it is necessary to furnish the several departments of the City <br />with gasoline for the operation of vehicles and motorized equipment, and, <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, this resolution constitutes an emergency measure providing <br />for the in~nediate preservation of the public property and for the usual daily <br />operation of a municipal department; now, therefore, <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD, STATE OF OHIO: <br /> <br /> Section 1. That the Director of Public Works be, and he is hereby <br />authorized and directed to enter into a contract for the purchase of the <br />necessary requirements of gasoline for a period of one year, beginning Novem- <br />ber 1, 1972 and ending October 31, 1973, for the several departments of the <br />City, with the lowest and best bidder after advertisement according to law. <br /> <br /> Section 2. That this resolution is hereby declared to be an emergency <br />measure for the reasons stated in the preamble hereof and provided it receives <br />the affirmative vote of two-thirds of all members elected to Council, it shall <br />take effect and be in force immediately upon its adoption and approval by the <br />Mayor. <br /> <br />Adopted:~, <br /> <br />Vice President / <br /> <br />Approved:v.~_~ /z~/~7~z' <br /> <br />Mayor <br /> <br /> <br />
